I am receiving a lot of inquiries recently about providing Web Hosting Dubai, or Abu Dhabi businesses here in UAE. Most about Email Hosting setup, and referring to unlimited size of email boxes and unlimited accounts!.
I would like to explain what are the Pros and Cons of such services marketed here in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or UAE:
First: there is no such term unlimited resources (at least with low cost services). There is always something hidden they don't let you know about. Sometimes, it is the limitation of cpu utilization given to every client like (2% or 5%) ONLY!, so you end up can't use more than a few mailboxes simultaneously.
Second: (Unlimited) marketing myth is used normally with free type of email servers software. It cannot be applied with Enterprise Class of emails like Microsoft Exchange, Google Apps, or SmarterMail Enterprise since these are priced per user.
The performance and reliability of Enterprise email servers are way far better than free email servers, besides the great graphical user interfaces equipped.
