One of the nice features coming with Windows Server 2012 and the web server IIS 8.0 is the CPU throttle control. That feature started with the IIS 7.5 version. The CPU monitoring could be used to terminated a worker process, when the CPU usage level goes high. This is an excellent feature especially in Shared Hosting.
In IIS 8, this feature has been taken to another level. More options added. Instead of killing the process, you can throttle it and limit the CPU usage to the value of your choice.
